Orders placed by 12pm are allocated with DPD on a 24hr courier service for dispatch the same day where possible or with Royal Mail 1st Class for smaller items. Orders should arrive with you within 1-2 working days of collection by the courier for shipment. Upon receipt of your order, please check that all items are present and correct, and notify us within 48 hrs of any damages or discrepancies. If you do not contact us within this time, we will conclude that you are satisfied with the receipt of your order as correct and complete and you will be liable for all items in your delivery.

**Please note we do not dispatch or deliver goods on Saturdays, Sundays or on days when our little peas shop in Dunfermline is closed (i.e. public holidays, over Christmas etc.)**

All orders over and including £40. Qualify for FREE shipping to UK Mainland addresses (excludes Islands/Offshore). Orders under this amount total will be charged a flat rate of £4.95 for all UK Mainland Deliveries (excludes Islands/Offshore). All Deliveries to Islands/Offshore addresses will be charged a variable rate based on the current shipping prices of the Courier/Postal Service that we use. Shipping to remote postcodes may take longer.

Nursery Furniture will be dispatched via courier and delivery times can be up to 28 days. We will contact you with a timescale specific to your furniture upon ordering. Furniture is delivered flat-packed and requires assembly.

If you pre-order an item on our website that is out of stock, we will contact you via email to let you know when it arrives with us. Once the item is in stock, the normal delivery timescales and charges apply

This will not affect your credit score.

Privacy Policy

Little Peas is committed to protecting the privacy of anyone using our site and the confidentiality of any information that you provide us with. The purpose of this statement is to set out how we use any personal information that we may obtain from you.

Why we need to hold onto your personal data?

  • We want to contact you to let you know about new products, special offers, news relative to Little Peas.
  • We are a small business and we rely on being able to market to our interested customers.
  • We may need to contact you if we need to recall a product.
  • We never share or pass your details to anyone else.
  • If you supply shipping address details we hold these on record to save you having to re-input this detail each time you order with Little Peas.
  • We are required by law to securely hold all sales invoices for accounting purposes for a period of six years.

What information do we hold?

Your Name
We like to keep things personal when we contact you.

Email Address
Used as a unique identifier to keep your data held together. Used to contact you should we need to send you an order confirmation, invoice or credit note. From time to time we may send you a marketing email to let you know about new products or news about Little Peas. You can opt-out of the email marketing at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the email. We would never share your email address with other parties.

Delivery Address
We need to know where to send your order. We also hold your address for future orders so that you do not need to enter it each time you order. We share your Name and Address with our delivery partners, allowing them to deliver your order. Invoice Address if different from Postal Address. If we need to send you a hard copy of your invoice we use this address.

Record of previous Orders
We keep a note of what you bought in the past so that you can reorder easily. We also keep a note of what you bought so we can contact you to let you know any news about this product that might be relevant to you, including special offers, product recalls, etc.

Bank Details
We do not store your bank details. We use a payment gateway called WorldPay that handles your bank details on our behalf.

Where do we hold your information?

We hold your information virtually at three online locations and one real location under lock and key in our warehouse.

Little Peas Website. Our website is hosted on a secure cloud-based server. The service is secure and password protected. The website https://littlepeas.co.uk involves the use of an SSL certificate – “SSL” stands for secure sockets layer – which creates a secure encrypted connection between the web server where our website is hosted and the web browser where you enter your details when making a purchase. This means your information is secure, safe and protected when being passed from you to us.

Mailing House
We hold a note of your email address and contact name on a mailing website which we use occasionally to send relevant marketing emails about Little Peas, news, promotions and offers. This email software helps us to note if any of our customers wish to unsubscribe making sure that we do not send them unwanted marketing emails.

Payment Gateway
Little Peas uses WorldPay as our secure payment gateway. We do not get access to your bank details. We do get to see your name and email address and what you ordered when you make an order.

Little Peas sometimes prints and keeps a paper copy of sales invoices under lock and key. These paper invoices allow us to track payments and also helps us track which products you buy (this is useful if we ever need to contact you with a product recall as part of our Health & Safety Policy).

Data Protection Act 1988
We are registered under the Data Protection Act and comply with the Act in all our dealings with your personal data.

There is a technology called “cookies” which may be used by us to provide you with, for example, customised information from our website. A cookie is an element of data that a website can send to your browser which may then store it on your system. If you wish, you can usually adjust your browser so that your computer does not accept cookies. Please remember cookies do not contain confidential information such as your home address, telephone number or credit card details. We do not exchange cookies with any third-party websites or external data suppliers.

We endeavour to take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information. However, we cannot guarantee the security of any data that you disclose online and we will not be responsible for any breach of security unless this is due to our negligence or wilful default.

You have the right to see personal data (as defined under the Data Protection Act) that we keep about you upon receipt of a written request and payment of a fee of £10. Any request should be sent to: [email protected]

In order to be able to offer you Klarna’s payment options, we will pass to Klarna certain aspects of your personal information, such as contact and order details, in order for Klarna to assess whether you qualify for their payment options and to tailor the payment options for you. General information on Klarna you can find here. Your personal data is handled in accordance with applicable data protection law and in accordance with the information in Klarna’s privacy policy.

Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

We thank you for shopping with us, and hope that you are very happy with your purchase, but we understand that you may at some point wish to return an item to us for various reasons. If you do choose to return an item, our aim is to make that process as quick and convenient as possible.  If you want to return an unwanted item when there is nothing wrong with it, please contact us within 14 days of receipt of your purchase. You may know that you are automatically entitled to a 14-day ‘cooling-off period’ when you buy something you haven’t seen in person- unless it’s bespoke or made to measure. The item must be unused and in a resalable condition- we request that you use the original packaging where possible to send the item back to us. You are welcome to arrange shipping yourself, or you can contact us at [email protected] and we will arrange a collection for you. Return shipping charges are £15 per box. We will only arrange collections from addresses in the UK.  If you are returning an item due to a manufacturing fault within 30 days of purchase, we will return or replace the item as appropriate- terms and conditions may apply. We may request that you send us photos or a short video of your fault and/or have your return inspected by the manufacturer where appropriate. Manufacturer faults do NOT include general wear and tear, neglect, accidental damage, carelessness or misuse, modification/alteration, damage to tyres/wheels (punctures and tears), failure to adhere to manufacturer instructions, or use of buggy boards, change bags or other non-approved 3rd party accessories. You must also be the original and only owner of your item. We request that you arrange shipping of your return to us for smaller items, we will refund postage charges up to and including £5.- please send us your receipt for postage and we will refund this charge to you. For larger items we will arrange collection.  If you report a problem after 30 days from the date of receipt, your product will still be under its manufacturer’s warranty and we’ll do our best to help you with any faults you have. Please check your instruction manual or contact us for information about the length of your warranty. We will look at each individual case- repair the product if possible, give you a replacement if it’s not, or issue a refund if we’re unable to do either.  If you have a problem with your item out-with its manufacturing warranty, please get in touch with us, let us know the issue and we’ll contact the manufacturer on your behalf to get a quote for repair/replacement.  Any refunds will be issued less the relevant collection charges once the item has been received back into store. Refunds will be made back via the original payment method and will be processed within 14 days by little peas ltd.  Please email us at [email protected] if you wish to change or cancel your order- we aim to respond to your email within 24 hours. Please include your order number and name when you contact us. If your order has already dispatched, our standard returns procedure will be followed. If you refuse your delivery because you wish to cancel, a collection charge will be applicable.  Any deliveries out-with the UK, will receive an additional shipping charge. Depending on the weight and dimensions of the item, we will contact you regarding additional costs if the shipping charge is excessive. We may agree that, if the charge is too high, the completion of the order is unavailable.
