The CYBEX Cloud G3 i-Size is a premium rotating infant car seat built to support your baby from the very first journey home through to their second birthday. Holding the coveted AGR certification - awarded by Germany's independent back health organisation - the Cloud G3 is designed around ergonomics for both parent and child, delivering a flat-recline position that promotes healthy posture, supports organ development, and helps optimise your newborn's breathing in and out of the car.

AGR-Certified Lie-Flat Comfort

Comfort begins from 40 cm. The Cloud G3's lie-flat recline can be adjusted with a single hand, letting you find your child's ideal resting position without any fuss. Whether you're transferring a sleeping newborn or settling a tired baby mid-journey, the seat moves with you rather than against you. The posture-friendly M-position keeps your child's legs correctly supported as they grow, and with 14 individual headrest settings, you can adapt the seat's fit from newborn through to the maximum height of 87 cm. The removable newborn inlay provides a cosier, more secure fit for babies as small as 40 cm and is easily removed once your child needs more space at around 61 cm.

180° Rotation & One-Click Release

Getting a baby in and out of a car safely and comfortably - especially on a cold, busy morning - is one of the most repeated challenges of early parenthood. The Cloud G3 addresses it directly. A 180 ° rotation swings the seat to face you, so you can buckle or unbuckle your baby without leaning awkwardly into the car. The seat's lightweight 4 kg design means lifting and transferring it between car, pram, and travel system is genuinely easy rather than just technically possible.

Linear Side-Impact Protection (L.S.P.)

The Cloud G3 includes CYBEX's L.S.P. System - Linear Side-Impact Protection - which absorbs and redirects the force of a side collision, reducing impact by approximately 15% compared to the same seat without L.S.P. (based on internal testing). This additional layer of protection gives families genuine reassurance on every journey, from a short school run to a longer motorway trip.

All-Round Ventilation & Premium Breathability

Keeping babies comfortable on warm days matters more than it might seem - overheating is a real concern for very young children in enclosed car environments. The Cloud G3 features all-round ventilation with precisely positioned vents to allow airflow through the seat. Plus Line versions of the Cloud G3 include an integrated premium mesh that is six times more breathable than comparable fabrics, helping regulate temperature throughout the journey. An XXL sun canopy with UPF50+ protection shelters your baby from direct sunlight and wind whether you're on the road, at the shops, or parked up for a feed.

Certified for Flights

The Cloud G3 carries TÜV Rheinland approval for use in aircraft, meaning you can bring it aboard as a proper child restraint rather than keeping your baby on your lap. It can also be secured in taxis and rental cars using the vehicle seatbelt alone — no base required — so you're not limited to vehicles with ISOFIX when you're away from home. Please note that acceptance on board varies by airline, so always check with your carrier before travel.

Part of the Modular G3 System

The Cloud G3 is designed to work with the CYBEX Base G3 (sold separately), which uses a load leg and ISOFIX for a secure, stable fit. What makes the G3 system particularly valuable for growing families is its compatibility with the CYBEX Sirona G3 toddler car seat. One base serves both seats, so you're not buying a second base when your child moves on from the infant carrier stage. Between the Cloud G3 and Sirona G3, the Base G3 covers your child from birth to approximately four years old - a rare combination of genuine long-term value and continuity of safety.

The Cloud G3 is also compatible with CYBEX pram chassis via adapters, allowing you to clip it directly onto select CYBEX strollers for a complete travel system from day one.

Compatible Installation Options

The Cloud G3 can be installed in two ways. With the Base G3, it clicks on and off in seconds, using ISOFIX and a load leg for maximum stability. Without a base, it can be secured using the vehicle's three-point seatbelt - useful for cars without ISOFIX and for travel.
