This ex-display Avionaut Maxspace Comfort System+ is a premium high back booster seat designed to carry children to 150 cm in height - broadly from around four to twelve years old. This is the standard fabric version (non-Airflow), featuring Avionaut's signature Comfort System+ cushioning developed in collaboration with paediatric physiotherapy and ergonomic specialists. Certified to R129/03 i-Size, with a positive ADAC test result and accreditation from the German AGR Association for Healthy Backs.
Comfort System+ Ergonomic Design The Comfort System+ has been developed using up-to-date medical data to address the specific postural challenges children face during longer journeys. A contoured cervical cushion stabilises the neck and relieves muscle tension, while a profiled lumbar section maintains the natural curve of the lower spine and helps prevent back pain. A shaped seat pan supports the femur and reduces compression on the coccyx, helping to protect the developing spine over time.
Recline Function Unlike many seats at this stage, the Maxspace includes a backrest tilt function which allows the seat to recline into a rest position. This prevents the head from drooping forward during sleep - a common source of discomfort and neck strain on longer journeys.
Side Impact Protection The seat comes with a removable side impact block which must always be fitted on the door side of the vehicle. This absorbs the initial energy of a side impact and should be moved each time the child changes sides of the car.
Installation The Maxspace can be installed using the integrated ISOFIX arms, which fold neatly into the seat when not in use, or secured with the vehicle's seatbelt alone using the clearly marked green belt routing guides. ISOFIX is recommended wherever possible due to the seat's weight.
Ventilation An integrated ventilation system promotes air circulation through the seat, keeping children comfortable on longer journeys.
Fabric & Maintenance The soft-touch fabric covers are removable and machine washable, making the seat straightforward to keep clean.
