CYBEX Solution S i-Size High Back Booster with Reclining Headrest

The CYBEX Solution S completes the new Platinum S-Line, taking over from the ADAC test-winning Solution T. This high-back booster seat is designed for children from approx. 3 up to 12 years (100–150 cm, max. 50 kg) and is approved to UN R129/04 (i-Size). It’s the natural next step once your child has outgrown their extended rear-facing seat, and one of the standout boosters in our i-Size car seats range.

Choose Comfort or Style

The Solution S comes in two fabric finishes. Comfort is soft and practical, in Cozy Beige or Sepia Black. Style takes its cue from luxury car interiors, pairing two-tone leather-look accents with breathable 3D mesh that regulates moisture and boosts airflow by up to six times compared with conventional materials, and adds an XXL sun canopy. Style is available in Sepia Black, Amber Brown, Misty Grey, Opal Blue, Quartz Pink, Jade Green and Off White. Both versions offer exactly the same safety features, and every CYBEX fabric is screened for harmful substances such as heavy metals, phthalates and flame retardants.

Reclining headrest

Children often nod off on longer journeys, and when their head falls forward it can slip out of the seat’s protected zone. The CYBEX reclining headrest gently tilts your child’s head back to reduce the chance of it falling forward while they sleep. In a side impact, keeping the head inside the protected zone offers up to seven times the safety compared with a head that has slipped out of the seat’s safety area*. Three positions let you find the right level of comfort.

Linear Side-Impact Protection (L.S.P.) is part of a three-tier safety system that channels energy into the seat’s energy-absorbing shell and headrest, reducing impact forces by up to 25%**. It unfolds automatically during the initial setup and tucks neatly away when space is tight, so installation is one less thing to worry about.

Solution S Grows up to 12 years

Children grow a lot between three and 12, and the Solution S keeps up with 12 height settings. Raise the headrest with one hand and the seat widens automatically, so adjustments are quick and the fit stays right as your child gets taller.

Secure ISOFIX installation and recline

Simply click the Solution S into your car using the ISOFIX connectors, then use the adjustment handle to align it with your vehicle seat. Visual indicators confirm correct installation, and the firm ISOFIX connection adds extra stability. Your child is secured with the car’s three-point seat belt. By adjusting the ISOFIX, the backrest moves from upright to a more reclined angle, ideal for a well-deserved nap.
