Sprint Safety: ADAC Tested and ECE R129 Certified

The Joie Sprint has been independently tested by ADAC - one of Europe's most rigorous consumer safety organisations - receiving an impressive 4-star rating with an official score of 1.8. It meets the highest ECE R129 safety standards, including thorough side impact testing, and achieves full i-Size certification when paired with a compatible Joie base, guaranteeing a correct fit in any i-Size approved vehicle.

The Tri-Protect headrest delivers three layers of protection within its padded wings, cradling your baby's head, neck, and shoulders. The 3-point harness features shoulder and lower buckle covers and tightens with a single pull for confident, consistent adjustment.

Sprint Comfort: Plush Cushioning from Birth

Designed for newborns from 40 cm up to 75 cm (birth to approximately 12 months), the Sprint wraps little ones in plush, deluxe cushioning crafted from the premium fabrics that define the Joie Signature range. The removable body insert provides a custom fit for smaller babies, while an adjustable head support grows with your child throughout their time in the seat. The wedge insert adds further comfort, and the curved base allows gentle rocking when the seat is out of the car - a handy feature for settling a sleepy newborn.

Sprint Installation: Built-In ISOFIX, No Base Needed

The Sprint's built-in ISOFIX connectors mean there is no base needed for everyday installation - simply click into any vehicle with ISOFIX anchor points and go. For added versatility, the Sprint is also compatible with the Joie i-Base Encore, which adds a 90° rotation to make getting baby in and out even easier without bending or disturbing a sleeping child. It also pairs with the Joie i-Base LX 2. Both bases are sold separately.

Please note: the Sprint requires ISOFIX anchor points and does not offer a seatbelt installation path. It is not suitable for use on aircraft or in older vehicles without ISOFIX fittings.

Sprint and the Encore Spinning System

When paired with the i-Base Encore, the Sprint becomes part of Joie's Encore Spinning System - an integrated family of car seats designed to grow with your child from birth right through to four years of age. A single button press rotates the seat 90° towards you for effortless, back-friendly loading and unloading.

Sprint Travel System Compatibility
