Brand new and sealed in its original packaging, this Britax Römer Dualfix iSense is available at a reduced price as part of a stock clearance.
The Dualfix iSense is an i-Size car seat suitable for children from 61–105 cm (approximately 3 months to 4 years, up to 18 kg). It's the natural follow-on seat within the Britax iSense modular system — designed to click straight onto the Flex Base iSense (sold separately) that families may already have from the Baby-Safe iSense stage.
Extended rear-facing protection
The Dualfix iSense allows you to keep your child in the rear-facing position right up to approximately 4 years old. In the event of a frontal collision - the most common type of road accident - a rear-facing seat offers the best protection, with the force of the impact absorbed and cushioned by the back of the seat, distributing the load evenly across the head, neck, and upper body.
Smart iSense lighting
The Dualfix iSense features smart lighting technology with two interior ambient lights that can be turned on to comfort your child when driving in the dark, keeping them calm and allowing you to check they're comfortable at a glance. Installation lights also guide you through fitting the seat safely, activating automatically in low-light conditions.
Safety features
The optimised SICTinside side impact protection system offers excellent protection in the event of a side collision. Soft, padded side wings act as a protective cocoon to further absorb lateral forces, and the V-shaped headrest is specially designed to control head movement for added comfort and protection. The seat also features Britax's patented Pivot Link Isofix system, which protects your child in frontal, side, and rear collisions.
A 5-point harness with neoprene shoulder pads secures your child snugly, with the headrest and harness adjusting together as they grow — no rethreading required.
360° rotation and installation
When installed on the Flex Base iSense (sold separately), the seat rotates 360° for easy access — simply swing the seat to face the open car door to settle and harness your child, then rotate back into position. Six recline positions are available in rear-facing mode, and an adjustable rebound bar minimises roll-back in the event of an impact.
The machine washable seat cover can be removed easily without disturbing the harness.
Please note: The Dualfix iSense requires the Britax Flex Base iSense for installation - it cannot be used with a seatbelt alone or with other bases. The Flex Base iSense is sold separately.
