Axkid Attachment Loops - Simplified Car Seat Fitting
Axkid Attachment Loops make fitting a rear-facing car seat quicker and more consistent, giving you a reliable connection point under your vehicle's front seat rails. Rather than working around awkward rail access every time you fit or move a seat, the loops stay in place, ready for the tether straps supplied with your car seat.
For seats with tether straps, simply thread the strap through the loop for a faster, more secure setup. Seats that use tensioners instead, such as the Axkid Minikid 4 Max, can be attached directly to the loops for a dependable fit. As with any installation, always follow the manual specific to your car seat model to confirm correct fitting.
Each pack contains two attachment loops, sized at 2 cm wide and 7 cm long, so one pack is all you need for a single seat. Axkid also offers 120 mm and 160 mm loop options for vehicles with different rail spacing, along with a dedicated tether strap for the Minikid 4 Pro and Minikid 4 Max, worth considering if your seat or vehicle set-up calls for a different fit.
Not sure which loops suit your car, or want help checking your installation? Come and see us in our Dunfermline showroom, where our team can talk you through fitting in person.

Did not fit on the rails of my car. Needed the longer ones. If they had fitted I think they would have been good.
The cost of ISOFix extended rear facing seats mean that we can't afford to have them for all our seats. These hooks make installing the seats so much faster and also allow you to bring the seat back a little bit more than when we used the straps.
Installing them was fairly simple once I had the correct tool to remove the seat bolt. It wasn't quite as easy as the install video made it look because of the seat rail in our car having some rivets close to the bolt. However once in place they appear to be secure and the car has had an MOT without problem.
Makes installing much easier
